Man Accused Of Striking Victim In Head With Bottle Wanted By Newark PD (Photo)

A man is at large after he struck a person in the head with a bottle in Newark on Saturday, March 9.

Police are looking for the suspected assailant.

The incident occurred at 3 a.m. on the 100 block of Van Buren Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. 

Surveillance video shows the man getting into a fight with the victim, throwing him to the ground and then striking him with the bottle, Fragé said.
